20th September saw the second session of the Autumn term and we have thrown ourselves into fun, games, and much much more. Today we started exploring subtext through tableaus. Impressive work from all young people!

Our first showcase is coming together and we look forward to sharing the fruits of our labour with families and friends. See you on Tuesday 28th June at 5:30pm, Network Theatre.
With only three sessions, that’s 4,5 hours (!), in which to get our showcase together we are hard at work at developing our characters and scenes – we WILL be ready by 28th June!
This week we started considering the artists we want to research and use for our showcase. We started building characters and did some scene work. Some excellent acting and some real surprises!
Today’s workshop was all about focus, concentration and understanding how status affects characters. It was a great experience for the young people to work in a ‘real’ theatre space and getting used to using a stage. Well done all!
